HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Our first “Home for the Holidays” eligible kitties is our longest waiting currently in our foster program and you’ll never believe just how long these 2 have been waiting… 1 1/2 years! Yes, you heard that correctly… a year and a half these deserving souls have been waiting for someone to just give them what they need the most, stability. Overlooked time and time again, these boys have never even had so much interest as to even have had one adoption application turned in for them. It’s just one of those scenarios where there’s no true reason as to why they’ve been waiting so long.

Patch
Patch had a very rough start in life. Born in a home overrun with cats the home owners didn’t even know him and his siblings were living under the bed. Raised by an indoor feral mom we didn’t get the call to rescue them until they were older than we would have liked and had no human socialization. To top it off his eye was dying from severe infection and needed immediate removal.
Because of his sad start in life he is shy and skittish but a sweet kitty just wanting a home to live his life happily with his best friend Naveen. He's not a lap cat and he does not like to be held or carried but still loves to be around people and get attention from them, on his terms. He will take a lot of time to warm up to people but that makes his love that much more rewarding. He does sometimes startle easy so he needs a calm household with no children. He gets along well with dogs and other cats, but will need a little time to adjust to them. He also loves to play and will chase around his kitty toys wherever you put them. They both just need some time, patience and some extra love to show that human love is what they can trust.

Naveen
Naveen is a very shy but sweet boy. He loves affection and being petted! He’s definitely the more trusting of him and best bud Patch. Once he trusts you he will lay in your lap and snuggle. He has a habit of nibbling your toes and fingers, but that’s just his way of showing affection and being playful. He enjoys rolling around with other kitties and playing with cat toys. He will need someone who is willing to give him and his bonded pair buddy “Patch” an extended amount of time to adjust to their new home. Lots of time, patience and love and you’ll see Naveens personality blossum. Because of Naveen & Patch being shy they would not do well in a home with children. Other cats and dogs should do just fine with slow, proper introduction.

To help these boys finally find their forever home we have reduced their adoption fee to only $75 for the pair.

They both are current on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and treated for internal & external parasites. They both have traits that resemble the rare breed “Nebelungs” but because they are rescue cats we do not have any proof of that.

Finding these boys their forever homes is at the top of our wishlist this year!
