Rio
Male
DOB: 3.11.23
Rio is a really sweet but sometimes misunderstood boy. He likes to act very timid when he’s around new people but deep down he’s a lover. Once officially bonded with his human he seeks out affection, follows you around rubbing on your legs and LOVES neck scratches. He has the most magnificently long tail and tall ears that make him look exotic. His most favorite thing to do right now is play! Playing with cat toys, playing with his siblings or another cat, playing with a piece of fuzz on the ground, he loves playtime! Once bonded to you he can still be a little nervous with fast movements but reassuring him that it’s just you he quickly realizes he’s ok and leans in for pets. He also does not like being picked up or carried. For these reasons he would not do well in a home with children. A calm household with adults only is where he would feel best. Rio would do great being adopted with one of his siblings (Brazil, Monkey or Gazelle) that he can roll around with or in a household with another playful kitty.
If you would like to meet this kitty please fill out an online adoption application by clicking here or going to our website at www.catsupport.net. This is the first step in scheduling a meet & greet.
All of our cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for parasites.
We hold adoption events every 1st & 3rd weekend at our Cat Adoption Center located inside of Petsmart at 5879 Lone Tree Way, Antioch/Brentwood border, CA. However, please follow our facebook page for possible schedule changes or special events. www.facebook.com/catsupportnetwork/
You can also visit our resident kitties at this location anytime during regular store hours. Meet & Greets and adoptions take place for these kitties 12-4pm daily.
