Drew (dob 6.21.24) is still a bit skittish, but once he is used to you and his surroundings, he enjoys gentle neck massages, lots of petting, and a cuddle or three.  He is very playful and is particularly fond of pole toys.  Since he really loves to pull them apart, it’s best to have a few handy.  He is a little shy about new places and can sometimes hide when he feels insecure, (often where he can see and be seen, just not quickly reached), so start him off small and let him expand his space as he becomes more confident.  He has done well with the other kitties in the foster home and he has become fairly comfortable around the small dog. He gets very nervous when chased and he can be a little mouthy when he starts to play, so he’d be better with an adult only home or with slightly older children who understand his boundaries. Young children or toddlers would not be a great fit. A calmer household would be the ideal space for him.
