Here's my story:
Unfortunately, I have had a rough couple of months. Someone found me on the streets with a broken leg and a broken pelvis. Because the injury was so severe my leg had to be surgically removed by a veterinarian. I am adjusting quickly and am realizing that I never needed that fourth leg. I have found out that my front legs are quite strong and I'm able to pull myself up when I need to climb onto a couch or chair.
I am a friendly boy and if you pet my head I will purr and even nudge you to get more love. Sometimes I get a little cautious and can get a little bit shy. Can you blame me after everything I've been through? I am continually learning that people are going to love me and not harm me.
Because of my "disability" (which I don't consider it a disability because I know that I'm still as strong as ever) I can no longer be an outside kitty. I am still getting used to only staying indoors so as I'm adjusting I sometimes walk around looking out the windows and can be a bit vocal. I know that being inside will protect me and with some time I will adjust to this.
My foster mom is still learning all of the aspects of my personality since she has only had me for a short time so she's not sure how I am with young children or dogs. I have however showed her my beautiful spirit and strength to keep my chin up and enjoy the things I know this world has to offer for me. I know with some time I will be the best kitty you could ask for!
My foster mom wants only the best for me and wants me to go to a very loving home so if you are possibly interested in adopting me please call her at (925)775-5039
