I’m adoptable!

Neko was born in a yard with nothing but knee high foxtails. Unfortunately by the time we got the call to rescue her she had already had permanent damage done to one eye which was likely caused by a foxtail. 

There’s no treatment necessary as of now but she will need to have strict yearly eye exams.

She’s approximately 3.5-4 months old and really is starting to come out of her shell. She LOVES to be pet and scratched! However, she’s extremely nervous about being picked up but that’s ok! Not all kitties need to be held and cradled. Neko would love to just sit next to you on the couch while you scratch her chin and come back for more and more.

She will definitely take some time to warm up in her new home but all she needs is some patience, understanding and a ton of love and soon enough she’ll have the greatest bond with you. ♥️

She loves to play with her toys as well as other kitties, however she’s so good at entertaining herself with her toys that so would do just fine being an only kitty if needed.
Even though she can be little timid she’s definitely not a stowaway, she is always around her foster family and “in the mix”.

She’s looking for a home where she’s not left alone for very long hours a day as well as a more quite, calm household versus a busy, active one. Because she is still coming out of her shell and can still be timid at times she would not do well in a household with young children.
